This policy applies to all members of the NUSOD community, including students, faculty, staff, and partners. It encompasses all operations and activities, from admissions and teaching to research, community engagement, and employment practices.

Policy Statement


NUSOD recognizes and embraces the rich diversity within its community, which includes individuals from various nations, ethnicities, economic backgrounds, and religious beliefs. We are dedicated to:
  • Ensuring equal access to opportunities and resources for all, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Actively combating discrimination, harassment, and any other form of unfair treatment within our community.

To implement this policy, NUSOD will:

  • Establish clear procedures for addressing complaints of discrimination or harassment, ensuring fair treatment and resolution.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of our efforts, making adjustments as needed to meet our objectives.

Responsibilities


All members of the NUSOD community share the responsibility to support and uphold the principles outlined in this policy. Leadership and administrative bodies have a duty to lead by example, ensure adherence to this policy, and address any instances of non-compliance or misconduct.

This policy will be reviewed at least every two years or as needed to ensure it remains effective and relevant to our community's needs.
