At Nucleus University School of Dentistry, we are committed to fostering an inclusive
environment where all members of our community can thrive, regardless of their abilities. In line
with this commitment, we have developed the Universal Disability Policy to ensure equitable
access to education, facilities, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This policy
outlines our principles, procedures, and support mechanisms to accommodate the needs of
students, faculty, staff, and visitors with disabilities.

Procedures:
- Registration and Disclosure:
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to disclose any
disabilities to the designated disability services office upon enrollment or employment. Disclosure
is voluntary and confidential, and information provided will be used solely for the purpose of
arranging accommodations.
- Accommodation Request Process:
Individuals seeking accommodations should submit a
request to the disability services office along with relevant documentation of their disability. The
disability services office will engage in an interactive process with the individual to determine
appropriate accommodations based on their specific needs and the requirements of their
academic or professional activities.
- Reasonable Accommodations:
Reasonable accommodations may include, but are not
limited to, academic adjustments, auxiliary aids and services, modifications to facilities, and
workplace accommodations. These accommodations will be provided in a timely manner to
ensure equal access and participation.
- Communication and Training:
We are committed to raising awareness and promoting
understanding of disability-related issues among our community members. Training programs
and resources will be provided to faculty, staff, and students to facilitate effective communication,
accommodation implementation, and disability etiquette.

- Student Affairs Office:
Student affairs office will oversee the implementation of this policy,
coordinate accommodations, and serve as a resource for individuals with disabilities and the
broader community.
- Accessibility Resources:
We will invest in resources and technologies to enhance
accessibility across our campus, including accessible buildings, assistive technologies, captioning
services, and accessible transportation options.
- Advocacy and Support Groups:
We will support advocacy and support groups for
individuals with disabilities, providing a platform for networking, peer support, and
empowerment.
- Ongoing Evaluation and Improvement:
We are committed to continuously evaluating
our policies, practices, and physical environment to identify and address barriers to accessibility.
Feedback from individuals with disabilities will be solicited and incorporated into our
improvement efforts.
Through the implementation of this Universal Disability Policy, we reaffirm our commitment to
