Procedure for Registration and Enrollment in the DDS Program

Nucleus University School of Dentistry Aruba (NUSOD) is committed to providing a seamless and
efficient registration and enrollment process for students admitted to the Doctor of Dental
Surgery (DDS) program. This procedure outlines the mandatory steps each admitted student
must follow to secure their place in the program and to prepare for their educational journey at
NUSOD.

Procedures

1. Acceptance of Offer
Deadline: Admitted students are required to accept their offer of admission by the deadline indicated in their acceptance letter.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit, as specified in the acceptance package, must be submitted to secure the student's place in the DDS program.

2. Submission of Required Documentation
Students must submit all required documentation by the deadlines provided in the acceptance
package. This includes:
- Final official transcripts.
- Immunization records and health clearance.
- Additional forms specified in the acceptance package (e.g., proof of insurance, background check consent forms).

3. Class Registration
Students will be assigned an academic advisor who will guide them through the class selection
and registration process.
Registration must be completed within the designated period as communicated through email or
the student portal.

4. Orientation Attendance
Orientation is mandatory for all new DDS students. It includes sessions on academic policies,
student services, and essential resources.
The date and details for orientation will be provided in the acceptance package.

5. Financial Arrangements
Students must ensure that all financial arrangements, including tuition and fees payment,
financial aid, and scholarships, are finalized before the start of classes.
The Financial officer is available to assist with any financial concerns.

6.Student Portal Access
All students are required to log into their student portal prior to the start of classes. The portal
provides access to class schedules, academic calendars, and other essential resources.

7. Preparation for Classes
Students are expected to be prepared for the first day of classes, including having all necessary
textbooks and materials.

Compliance
Failure to comply with the above procedures may result in the student's inability to enroll in the
DDS program. It is the student's responsibility to ensure all steps are completed by the specified
deadlines.
